Sequoia Dye

Description

Sequoia is derived from California Redwood. The dye is found in very small quantities in the Cones and is collected during harvest of the seeds used for reforestation.

Use 15% weight of fiber. Extract dye in a warm water bath (140°F, 60°C) for an hour. Filter out wood chips, add your mordanted fiber, and hold the temperature for another hour or two.
