Description
A Nostepinne, or yarn ball winder, is used to make a center-pull yarn ball. Center-pull yarn balls are very convenient since they do not jump around as you are pulling yarn from them while knitting or crocheting. This lovely smooth tool can be used with the finest yarns, either hand spun or commercially available. We us progressively finer grit sandpaper between coats of polyurethane to produce a silky smooth finish.
The handle of the Nostepinne may be slightly different from the one we have pictured. Wood being a natural product can dictate the actual shape of the finished piece due to irregularities or flaws in the grain. The one pictured is made from Satine/Bloodwood.
